Chief Engineer
” I joined ASP as a project manager at the end of 2015. When I started my job, I had a relatively recent mechatronic engineering degree from Chalmers University of Technology, but I have always been interested in electronics and programming. Therefore, applying for a job at ASP and working with transmission products for vehicles was the perfect combination for me. I had graduated only recently, but this didn’t mean that I lacked prior experience from the automotive industry. Before my studies, I worked for many years as a process controller at Volvo Cars.
I now work as a chief engineer and am very happy with my job, mostly because it’s so varying, and I love a challenge. It is even more fun when I get to manage new projects, surrounded by skilled and experienced colleagues.”

”I have been with the company since 1979. The reason I stayed so long is the variation in the work, trust on the part of the management and the responsibility I have on the shop floor. I mainly work with in-house training and quality control, which are two important aspects of the company’s goals. Maintenance and safety issues are also among my tasks. In short, I really enjoy my work!”
